    What you'll do

    Utilize Expertise of Microsoft SharePoint as synchronous and asynchronous technology enablers to implement Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives and coordinate KM efforts across Project Director (PD) and subordinate organizations. Identify internal/external best KM practices and provide a framework for a SharePoint Site Collection, libraries, and applications, which ensures the capture, harnessing and exploitation of intellectual capital.

     

    Develop custom workflows based on customer requirements and institutionalized KM practices. Implements methodologies for sharing these best KM practices across the entire community using SharePoint Portals, Dashboards, and online meetings. Contributes to the design, set up and maintenance of internal/external SharePoint site collections and portals used for explicit and tacit knowledge exchange. Coaches and champions online communities of practice, mentors, topic leaders, and provide directions across the initial entry community. Implements strategies to effectively use and share explicit and tacit knowledge; monitors and maintains processes for identifying and supporting Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), mentors, and coaches; facilitates the sharing of best business practices across the enterprise. Other responsibilities are listed below:

     

    • Responsible for designing custom applications based on customer requirements and KM Best Practices.
    • Performs maintenance on the portal as needed in alignment with KM policy and Microsoft best practices.
    • Run demonstrations for senior leadership on new applications, dashboards, and out-of-the-box SharePoint functionality.
    • Serve as site champion for the organization’s community of users.
    • Provide SME on SharePoint during regularly occurring strategy sessions.
    • Collaborates with government on process improvement in the areas of requirements, project, and release management.

     

    What you'll bring

    • 10 years of knowledge management, organizational learning, international development, SharePoint Designer/Developer, Administrator, and experience with processes & Workflows, international affairs or a relevant experience.
    • MS SharePoint 2013, Java Script Object Model, JQuery and Rest.
    • Administration (Permissions, Inheritancy, Audiencing, and Workflows (Nintex a plus)).
    • Active Secret security clearance
    • Master's degree or equivalent to; in related field. (Equivalence = Bachelor’s degree + 15 years’ experience)
    • Must have experience in IT risk, program management and schedule management
    • Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE (to meet DoD IAT Level II requirement)
