    What you'll do

    In this role, you will combine excellent sales support, and consultative skills with an expert understanding of advanced and emerging technologies. With your proven track record of successful sales support activity, you will proactively support an opportunity pipeline and drive through the sales process to closure. You will investigate the prospects needs and work closely with the high-level commanders/executives to develop business and technical strategies that can help ensure the best chance to win business while also working to identify compelling events or specific business problems and architect a solution to the customer. You will provide specialized technical support to the prospect/customer using Mission1st ‘best practices’ techniques along with other available resources provided. You will assist in achieving financial targets via the sales process and assisting sales in accurately assessing and forecasting opportunities as well as assist in making tactical decisions regarding the sale itself. Other tasks and responsibilities are listed below:

     

    • Demonstrate the ability to work as the lead for large complex projects at a regional and/or global level
    • Create and deliver Proof of Concepts (POC), prepare for and run initial and subsequent onsite/remote presentations
    • Work with users on a regular basis, explore scenarios in which the system is being used and discover new upsell opportunities by understanding the user’s needs
    • Strong ability to differentiate the products and services from competitors – an expert in competitor’s product and how to differentiate against them
    • Identify and qualify new opportunities, and support technical pre-sales activities to opportunity closure
    • Dedicatedly expand our install base within existing accounts
    • Maintain key partner technical relationships and effectively enable and use channel partners
    • Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain current technical knowledge, and actively share knowledge and technical experience with the broader team
    • Actively participates in technical communities of interest and focus on certain technologies
    • Consistently meet all expectations in customer-facing engagement, in writing, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills
    • Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions
    • Leverages company solutions to support customer IT strategic directions, creating extensive customer business value
    • Strong credibility with company's business units and account teams based on history of solid results and contributions
    • Leverages deep understanding of the competition - both positioning strategy and technology - to create competitive advantage for the company

    What you'll bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or university) in an IT-related field or equivalent combination of work experience
    • 5+ years’ experience in information technology and sales engineering
    • Utilizes deep knowledge of Network and Cyber Security, Systems Engineering, customer value chain, business metrics and drivers
    • DoD 8570 certification: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CEH
    • Possess technical skills and experience responding to or creating RFI or RFPs
    • A commitment to your profession demonstrated by participation in providing support, guidance and memberships in professional associations
    • A desire to join some of the most capable and experienced telecommunications and engineering professionals in the industry and contribute to the ongoing growth of our venture together
    • Strong understanding of security controls, frameworks and practices
    • Exceptional written/verbal communication and organization skills
    • Phenomenal time management and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to build relationships across customer's IT silos to document their infrastructure and understand their challenges and seek out potential projects
    • Strong charismatic presentation skills with the ability to perform compelling views of our products against the customer needs as well as present product demonstrations of system capabilities and benefits for customer meetings; lead whiteboard discussions, etc., to best present Mission1st solutions in the best possible light for customers, resellers, integrators, etc

    • Ability to adapt to new situations and opportunities that may include multiple Integrators on a common customer network
    • Demonstrates skilled use of financial and capital investment concepts in justifying solutions that create business value for the customer
    • Strong customer relation/engagement skills with ability to collaborate and coordinate with traditional computer engineering technical disciplines and effectively communicate technical concepts to management and non-technical decision makers
    • Self-motivated and constantly looking for ways to improve both product and process with extensive hands-on level skills with a broad range of the technology
