What you'll do

In this role, you will be working closely with the Human Resources Department on employment verification requests. Assisting with registrations for taxing and unemployment authorities. You’ll attend new employee orientation weekly, explaining payroll taxes, as well as direct deposit procedures. Training new employees/supervisors on the timesheet entry system to include ensuring timesheets are correctly entered with accurate hours worked. Providing user support to all employees entering timesheets, timesheet modifiers, and timesheet approvers. As we as, assisting with preparing, computing, and submitting year-end information not normally handled through payroll processing such as supplemental income, moving expenses, educational grants (when applicable), etc. Other responsibilities listed below:


  • Managing the timesheet entry system using Replicon and processing weekly timesheets and bi­ weekly payroll
  • Assist with preparing the monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reconciliation
  • Assist with reviewing payroll discrepancies and determining the problems and, when necessary, initiate adjustments and recommend appropriate actions
  • Reviewing, comparing, and balancing payroll-related accounts monthly
  • Assist with reconciling monthly payroll reports with internal system records
  • Assist with processing monthly payroll journal entry as needed
  • Handling employee payroll and tax-related correspondence, complaints & inquiries
  • Documenting all payroll processes
  • Participating in special projects as required
  • Completing all tasks and functions assigned by senior leadership

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university) in Business/Finance related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Two or more (2+) years in Payroll and Accounts Payable
