What you'll do

The Executive Assistant will provide executive-level support to the President of Mission1st with the day-to-day administrative and strategic business needs. Duties may be administrative and project-based and include scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling of information requests, research, dictating and aiding in presentation and proposals, attending meetings, report preparation, correspondence, and liaising with senior management. You will also provide support to other key leaders within the organization as needed. This exciting role will be based out of our new headquarters located in Melbourne, FL. Being able to wear multiple hats is a must! Other Responsibilities are listed below: 

  • Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos and preparing communications on the executive's behalf
  • Managing the President’s/Senior Management’s day-to-day calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and create trip itineraries, plan logistics, and submit expense reports
  • Use various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software to prepare reports and/or special projects
  • Assist in the coordinator of company events, employee lunches, breakfasts, holiday party and other events
  • Order office supplies, coordinating facilities requirements, and preparing certain reports.
  • Handle confidential personal and business information effectively.
  • Support other Senior Management along with the Mission1st team as needed  

What you'll bring

  • Associate’s Degree (two-year college or university) in related field or equivalent combination of work experience
  • Ability to interface well with all departments within the company and to represent the President in a highly professional manner
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with the ability to handle sensitive material concerning the organization and the President’s role
  • Previous experience partnering with senior management in a fast paced, innovative environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leaders and external partners
  • Team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment
